The RROC So-Cal Fox Hunt will be held on Sunday, October 27th, in Newport Beach. It will start at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot of Miguel’s Jr. located at 141 East 17th Street, Costa Mesa, 92627. We will have donuts and beverages, and the cars will then leave on the Fox Hunt starting about 10:45 a.m. at two-minute intervals.
To participate in the competition in this event, you must be driving your PMC – Rolls-Royce or Bentley. Other non-PMC vehicles may participate but are not eligible to win. There must be at least 2 people in each vehicle – one to drive and one to record the answers. You may come by yourself, but we will arrange for you to ride in a car with other people. The Fox Hunt is a visual scavenger hunt - you will be looking for answers to questions as you drive through some fun & interesting neighborhoods! Speed is NOT a factor, as the time involved is NOT factored in the results - only the answers to the questions. This is an event that children or older grandchildren enjoy, so consider bringing them to this event! There will be few, if any, gas stations or bathroom stops along this route, so please have adequate fuel in your vehicle and take a bathroom stop before you arrive.
Seeing how our Fox Hunt lands so close to Halloween, we thought it might be fun to add some ghoulish fun! We encourage all participants to embrace the Halloween spirit by donning their favorite costumes. Whether you choose to be a classic ghost, a whimsical witch, or a dapper vampire, your creativity will add an extra layer of enjoyment to the hunt. We will also be hosting a costume contest with categories such as “Best Dressed,” “Most Creative,” and “Spookiest,” so be sure to bring your A-game!
Once you reach the destination we will enjoy a delicious lunch together. After lunch we will go over all the answers to the questions and determine a winner! The winner will NOT be required to put on this event next year, so please come and enjoy this event!
Lunch will be served buffet style so you will have choices of any or all below:
- House Salad •Spaghetti & Meatballs • Broasted Chicken • Mashed Potatoes
- Chicken Fettucine • Soft drinks • Dessert(s)
The cost for everything is $55.00 per person. The RSVP deadline for this event is Wednesday, October 23rd. The restaurant needs a count by Thursday morning to prepare for us.
