Club History

The Rolls-Royce Owners Club is dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of Rolls-Royce and Bentley automobiles. Rolls-Royce began producing cars in 1906 and is one of the best known products in the world. A 1987 survey found that only Coca Cola was a more widely known brand than Rolls-Royce. Over its 114 year history it is said that a remarkable 65% of their vehicles produced are still on the road.

The Southern California Region was founded in 1954 and was originally referred to as the Western Region. The founding members were Bill Anderson, Fred Buess, Bill Casthe, Bruce Fagan, Phil Hill, Dan Post, and Jim Talmadge. The name was changed in 1957 to the West Coast Region and again in 1962 to the Southern California Region.

Today, 69 years later, we have nearly 300 members with over 500 Rolls-Royce and Bentley automobiles and we’re still growing. Our cars include very early models to present day vehicles although owning one is not a requirement for membership. We have events, meets, parties, and tours every month as well as an award winning full color monthly newsletter. We are a welcoming, inclusive club and we look forward to sharing our passion for automobiles with members old and new.
